Sacred Feminine & the Divine Mother

For centuries the sacred feminine, the impregnated virgin, survived underground, split off from the collective mind and soul, due to patriarchal conditioning.  Now, as we move forward in the early stages of the twenty-first century, the Goddess Matriarch is awakened and ever present.

What is posted here is a taste of the compilation of visions, dreams, personal journey, prayers, and rituals, as well as, a creative weaving of astrological data, archetypes and research regarding the Sacred Feminine--shared in dedication to those who seek to understand and embody the feminine, and those who are pioneering and forging conscious pathways within themselves  and the world.

The wisdom of what I call the Sacred Feminine (all things feminine), particularly the many faces of Mary and the conscious embodiment of personal power are woven throughout.

Our writings speak directly to the current times with a message for the collective.

As we individually and collectively walk out of victim hood and out of the shadow, through fears, illusions, betrayals, and self-sabotage we embrace the pool of aliveness, the call of wholeness, and merge with the Goddess and the collective renaissance emerging now.

The Blessed Mother Divine and the Sacred Feminine have filled mine eyes with love, touched my mind with vision, and filled my soul with light.

In autumn of 2004, a gifted young woman, Nicole, initiated a circle of intuitive women to gather once a month on the full moon.

The intention of the group was to channel information about how to work with the web of the Earth in support of furthering planetary healing for all of Earth’s inhabitants.  As we gathered each month we set an intention and meditated to receive guidance of how we were to direct our time together.  We drummed, danced, sang and surely channeled our individual and collective insights as our clairvoyance came forward.

After each gathering, I began having profound dreams and visions related to the feminine.  By late October I had a waking visionary visitation from Mary Magdalene, Guinevere and the Lake of the Lake.

Since then I have had continuous visions.

Yeah! Some Earth

Finally, a breath of fresh air.  The Sun is in Taurus, mid-degrees, and now Mars is in Taurus with Jupiter, Venus, and Mercury soon to follow suit.  With two personal planets (Venus/Moon) in feminine earth signs, I welcome the complimentary energy and groundedness of Taurus, even though Taurus squares my Leo Sun/Mercury.

Have you noticed how pleasant the weather is (at least here in Maryland)?  That's Taurus' beauty wafting through the air, as flowers bloom, gardens prosper, and more fresh vegetables and fruits are available to choose from at the local farmer's market.  Yes, the plodding stable energy of Taurus yields plentiful rewards, when we consistently seed ourselves in present time and cultivate future stability.

Nurturing our earth, our bodies, our relationships, and our ability to love ourselves by creating sustainable futures, both personally and collectively, is the essence of Taurus.  Ruled by Venus, Taurus yields the pleasure factor.  But like all fixed signs Taurus can be bull-headed, focused only on the practical.  The blessing of our personal and collective zodiacs though  combine (hopefully) of all the elements.  So if we have Venus in Taurus, we may have Mercury Gemini, which helps us be flexible in our thinking, supporting Venus to be more open to new ideas and venues while creating a comfortable life, or comfortable relationships with our home planet.

As Jupiter, Venus and Mercury move into Taurus the themes of relationships: to the Earth and our personal material life (finances, possessions, sexuality, our physical bodies) will come to the surface.  How all this plays out in our lives, depends on where Taurus is in our charts (what house) and how it interacts with the rest of our natal chart.  For me all these Taurus planets will trine my 8th house Moon and my 4th house Venus (this is good, yay hoo!).  The sign of Taurus rests in in my 11th house (and in the 12th) of friends, communities, awakening, humanitarian change.  Because of the trine aspects to my other earth planets, I will easily meet others and form rich rooted relationships, while also gaining support (financial and otherwise) to move my home, and manifest many long-term goals (and so on).  This is not to say, I won't feel pressure (student loans, rebuilding my home life) will not be there, but the means it is dealt with will flow.

If have a lots of planets in the other fixed signs (Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius) we may not enjoy this time so much.  I definitely didn't enjoy all those planets in Aries! even though they are compatiable with my Leo, too much Aries is not so with my Capricorn Moon/Libra Mars.  They have a strong distaste for so much impulsive energy.

Next week, on the 17th, we will experience a Full Moon in Scorpio 26 degrees, with the Taurus Sun 26 degrees.  Venus, Mercury and Mars will be in the early degrees of Taurus in trine aspect to Pluto in Capricorn.  This is a great time for business growth and opportunity, and a time for sincere efforts to make head-way in our collective goals towards sustainable living on earth.  The shadow of Pluto in Capricorn operates much like Scrooge in The Christmas Carol.  Let's make this nurturing earthy time one of building on the ancient wisdom and authority of Capricorn to oversee and care for all the mouths on this planet seeking shelter, nourishment, and love.

Taurus is an erotic sign, linked with pleasure.  What could be more erotic than becoming embodied, living sustainably from and with the earth (let's compost!), breathing in clean air and drinking clean water, and eating food from sustainable conscious farms?  During this Taurean time, we may be challenged to take our desires and meeting our basic needs to a new level.  If we are struggling to make ends meet, or want to create new goals, or build more solid foundations to stand on, we will make the greatest gains by applying consistent discipline, taking it one day at a time, one step at time, with the stability and endurance Taurus offers us.

In love, beauty, and greenly pleasures, Namaste.

Sabian Symbol for Scorpio 26:
A group of American Indians are making camp. As if by magic the teepees are erected and home comfort established.
Sabian Symbol for Taurus 26:
A Spanish gallant stands at the window grill of his love, serenading her with the softer melodies of night.
